The idea for shop was to provide easy access to regular customers of Ken Quine. In Particular older and younger customers who struggle going to the second floor due to old age or young children.

We look forward to welcoming you in our new shop and providing the quality customer service for all your specialist  and usual requirements.

We have a large new hardware stock  in with many new electrical products from Silverline including a wide range of drills, sanding tools, also included is a very large selection of drill  bits, workbenches, clamps, carving tools etc.

To introduce this new line we are doing 20 percent off all seizes of Crow bars and Staple guns.

In the cooks shop we have 20 percent savings on resealable plastic containers, plus another 20 percent off a wide variety of Jugs.

In our Garden range we are offering 20 percent of a selection composts from Everygreen lawn care products to a few miscellaneous other types of compost.

Are you aged 13 and under? then enter are Daffodil Competition, with a 1st  prize of 20 pounds and a 2nd prize of 15 pounds. All you have to do is purchase one of our growing kits from our shop and grow your own Daffodil. The Judges will be looking for the tallest,  full bodied well balanced plant.

When you think that your Daffodil is at its best, bring it down to the shop for our staff to have a look. You will than  be awarded a a score between one and ten. The best daffodil grown by the end of season will be contacted by the Ken Quine staff and awarded their prize. Come into the store for more information.  Happy Growing.

Sarah Christian with her Thomas the tank engine sponge cake won first prize in our cake competition on Saturday the 14 of November winning a 30 pound voucher. Followed by Ian Caldwell with his Lemon Drizzle winning a 20 pound voucher. Thanks particularly go to the Canon Norma Cole who judged the event and gave many useful tips about cakes and such events. We look forward to doing a follow up Cake event in the New Year. Thanks to all those that participated. Our next event will be a coffee and tea Morning on the 12 of December where you will be able to get Hardware advice from our experienced Ken.

Marinex is similar to Pyrex but a lot cheaper and can be used for microwaving and oven baking of  vegetable & meat dishes in a covered glass dish with a splash of water. We have had no problems or complaints, and  it works effectively. Included in the sale is jugs, casseroles dishes, baking plates etc.
